What about the UAE and the Gulf?

The UAE isn't built into the timeline generator above because, unlike UCAS, GEMSAS, or NTA, there isn't a single published national admissions calendar to plan against — this is worth stating plainly rather than inventing dates that would look precise but aren't verifiable. Universities commonly used by expatriate Indian families in the UAE include Gulf Medical University (Ajman), RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, Ajman University's College of Medicine, and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine (Dubai). Ajman University's own admissions page describes a 6-year MD (or a 4-year accelerated track for relevant bachelor's-degree holders); other UAE medical programmes are commonly reported as 5–6 years, English-medium — but we could not independently confirm every school's exact structure and NEET-eligibility requirement from official sources during this research, so treat that as a starting point to confirm directly with each admissions office.

Application windows are commonly reported by education consultancies as opening roughly November–March for a September intake, with 6–8 months of lead time recommended — but we found no single official university admissions calendar to verify this against directly, so treat it as an approximate planning guide, not a hard deadline. Recognition status also needs individual verification: Gulf Medical University states its programme is listed on the World Directory of Medical Schools, but we could not confirm this for every UAE institution, and FMGE pass-rate data for UAE-trained graduates does not appear at all in the country-wise breakdowns we could locate — meaning either too few candidates sit each year to report, or the National Board of Examinations doesn't break UAE out separately. Don't take an FMGE percentage for a UAE degree from anyone who claims to have one; the data to support a specific figure doesn't appear to be publicly available.

Beyond the UAE, other GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain) have far thinner English-language, expat-accessible private medical education markets — what little information exists comes from consultancy sites rather than official sources, so we're not presenting country-specific guidance for them here rather than filling the gap with unverified claims.
